I’ve been here…. two months, and all I do is pass out for maybe an hour every few days. Not even days, nights more like it, and I can’t go home. All I want to do is go home. I don’t have some sad sob family story like a lot of people...

No, they change the way you hear yourself. Sometimes the way you hear yourself can cause you to stutter more. There are different types. Some of them make it so you hear yourself at a delay, some change your pitch, and some produce sine waves at the frequency your vocal cords vibrate. It’s hard to explain, but they can reduce stuttering by up to 80%!

Okay, how about this? If you are willing to try medication, I can prescribe you something. There are a few different things that help with stuttering, and maybe we can find something that works for you.
